Sizing seems off

I really want to love these! BUT I am a little confused about the inclusive sizing… The waistband is uncomfortably tight and short - I am sensitive about things being tight and constrictive and I was hoping to wear these pants as a remedy to that. - For reference I am a petite who wears sizes 2-4, with curvier hips.

The BEST pants EVER

I Literally cannot take them off and am writing this review so I get $10 off another pair because I want more and my whole wardrobe is basically cotton flower now and they just have really done it!

These pants are so soft and fun. I really like the shape of them. They did shrink a bit on the first wash but I dried them and maybe shouldn't have done so.

Boho Perfection

Soft, flattering, the smocked waist is comfy. I am not sure about the inclusive sizing. I'm between a size 4-6, and if I was my 20+ lb heavier version previously, I wouldn't appreciate the crotch to waist measure.
